Heritage Isle Credit Union

Heritage Isle Credit Union was founded by a group of Comalco employees in 1965 and since then we have grown throughout Launceston and the Tamar Valley.

We are a community credit union, open to all but primarily servicing the residents of Northern Tasmania, where we have four branches throughout the Tamar Valley.

What is a Credit Union? Credit unions are financial co-operatives owned and democratically operated by the people who save and borrow with them. Essentially this means that all our profits come back to the Credit Union and its members rather than going to shareholders, allowing us to provide more competitive fees and rates.
